To kick things off for the "see ya laters," there was a going away, last day of work happy hour... at work. Yup, at work. Right out side the back door they brought out a BBQ grill and a keg holder thing that belongs to WORK. *The beer was kept cold in the work fridge*
Before we headed out to the party we had a quick mini tour of ESA.
A statue of Yuri Gagarin. First man in space!
The lobby has a bunch of fun things to check out.
We also tested out the chairs...
...and did some push ups.
More tour...
Checking out Dad's desk and work space.
We made our way out to the back to join happy hour already in progress...
Sweet Nancy, being from Australia, brought some vegemite for everyone to try and enjoy...
...or not ;)
"Jess...get in the picture!"
Tag, you're it!
Saturdays here are usually spent running errands and shopping. Most stores are only open until 8p and everything is closed on Sundays. So, plan accordingly. This guy was done with all the Saturday running and found a great place to watch a little bit of the game.
Sundays we try to do something fun and outdoors.
We found a Sunday floh markt (FRED, we have flea markets here!!)
that we could bike to. My little guy is building up his Polizei collection
every week with all his finds.
On our way back we stopped off for some ice cream while we enjoyed some
people-watching right on the Rhein river.
And then took the bike path on down to home.
Happy weekend to all!!
